Follow these steps to set up your first project and start filing daily reports. No training required.
Register with your email address. A sample project is automatically added to your account so you can see how everything works before setting up your own.
Go to Projects â New Project. Add your project name, client, location and dates. This takes 2 minutes.
Add your labor trades (Foreman, Steel Fixer etc.), equipment types (Excavator, Crane etc.), staff types and activity types with target quantities. These are your building blocks for daily reports.
Go to your project â New Report. Select the date, log the weather, add your labor, equipment, staff and activity entries. Hit Save. Proglyo automatically calculates totals and updates cumulative progress across all reports.
Open any report or summary page and click Excel to download a formatted file. Use Column Settings to hide columns you don't need â hidden columns stay hidden in the Excel export. Use Project Summary to get period and cumulative data for any date range.
Go to Project Summary in the sidebar. Set a date range using the From and To fields and click Apply. You instantly see period totals (what was done in that specific period) and cumulative to-date totals side by side for all activities, labor and equipment. Change the dates at any time to get a different reporting window.
Go to the Labor or Equipment section in the sidebar. Each trade or equipment type shows its total hours for the full project. Click the arrow to expand and see a daily breakdown â date, company and hours. For the full drill-down in Excel, click the Excel button â the export includes a summary row for each type followed by every individual daily entry.
When adding an activity type, enter a target quantity. Every time you log a quantity in a daily report, Proglyo adds it to the cumulative total and calculates the percentage complete automatically. Live progress is visible on the Activities page and in the Project Summary.
Open any daily report and look at the Activities section. For each activity you will see the previous cumulative quantity, today's quantity and the running total â updated automatically. In the Excel export this is shown as Prev. Qty, Today's Qty and Total Qty columns.
Open the daily report detail page and click Column Settings. Toggle off any columns you don't want to see. Your preferences are saved automatically. When you click Excel, the export respects your column settings â hidden columns are excluded from the file.
You can export: daily reports, project summaries (for any date range), labor types with full drill-down, equipment types with full drill-down and activity types with full drill-down. Each is a separate formatted Excel file with color-coded sections.
Yes â open the report and click Edit. All changes update cumulative totals automatically across all reports and the Project Summary.
All your data stays in your account indefinitely. You can access reports, labor records and activity history long after the project is complete. Export everything to Excel at any time to keep a physical copy of your records.
Yes â there is no limit on the number of active projects. Switch between projects from the Projects page in the sidebar at any time.
Go to Project Summary and set your date range â for example the past week. You instantly see period totals and cumulative to-date totals side by side. Export to Excel in one click and send directly to your client.
